If you're going to see The Boss Baby, the 3D visuals just might make it worth a trip to the theater for you. Not even when it goes into its high speed backyard chase scene. But besides slight moments such as this, The Boss Baby is not going to make you toss your cookies in the theater. One example is a particularly jarring angle of a staircase discussion scene, which wears on the eyes when it tilts the angle of the scene. When items get closer, they seem to be a little easier to watch without the glasses on, especially moments where the Boss Baby himself comes into center frame.įor all of the fantastic visuals that The Boss Baby packs its film with, there are still a couple of shots here and there that wonk out the viewer's eyes. In terms of close ups and character-centric moments, there's not as much blur involved with those shots. This helps draw the depths of the image pretty impressively, as the more blur there is, the more depth there should be. Your mileage may vary on this factor, of course, as the theater you're seeing The Boss Baby in may not have calibrated their projector properly when switching between a 2D and 3D showing.Īs far as the blurriness factor goes, The Boss Baby has some rich blur in its backgrounds. It's not enough of a color drain to be a deal breaker, but it's definitely noticeable, as when you lift your glasses up, you get a lot more color detail. For a film with such a rich color palette, this movie disappoints just a bit when you put your glasses on. ![]() Here's where The Boss Baby starts to falter a little bit. With a crisp division between characters and their backgrounds, as well as fantasy and reality, the eye is very pleased. One sequence where a typical suburban hallway turns into a ninja friendly corridor is a prime example of how the depth of this film's 3D presentation is stellar to look at. In particular, the depths of Tim's various daydreams are of special note, as it the worlds the young man creates are even deeper than the real world. really hope its not bittersweet! How to Train your Dragon got a dead dad and no more dragons, but the other movies in the lineup had happier endings.I really hope this won't be the bittersweet tally on the movie list!Ĭan't wait till Tim and Ted get a picture on the wall at Baby Corp in their adult forms Title Boss Baby and Boss Brother.Complementing the barrage of visual assets being flung through the window, The Boss Baby reaches just as phenomenally in the reverse direction. ![]() REALLY* hope Carol doesn't screw up! Hopefully they just send her on a cruise or something in the 3rd movie while Ted, Tim, Tina and Tabitha solve the might even be kittens!īEST movie so far in terms of light hearted and friendship! Can't wait till they release it in a trilogy! what I am scared of is Carol (Tims Wife) blowing it and telling everyone or mistakenly telling everyone about Baby Corp or at least being suspicious of babies and then the end of the 3rd movie is about a full 'clean memory wipe' of everyone so the secret is safe. Also makes sense later when Ted reads the Memo Tim sent as a kid and you hear Tims voice when he wrote it as a kid. I know people didn't like adult Tim voice in kid Tim but it works in showing the mental difference between kid and adult Tim. ![]() Going forward was nice in that they were able to use their complete skill sets that they acquired during their 50 years in mortal life and experience of Baby Corp in their mission. ![]() It was sad that only he had the whole picture but then Ted remembered and now both of them have the whole picture of their lives. Tim gets to have his complete brother back. Its sort of plausible too cause with the pacifier its just their soul/consciousness going up to Baby Corp and so the bare being of the person is being transported.and while in that state the memories can be triggered with no lag (psychological blocks or denial) and therefore he knows that Baby Corp and everything he is remembering is real! I love the movie for the general fact that Ted got his memories back!
